Transforming Philosophy into Life's Most Sublime Asset.
"Why is it that those with genuine vision struggle, while those chasing superficial profits are applauded?"
Since starting my own business at the age of 23 and experiencing various ventures, I was confronted with a profound sense of dissonance. In my search for answers, I arrived at a realization: the limitations of the business models built upon the Western individualism that forms the foundation of modern society.
The essence of business is not how much one earns, but "what social challenges are solved, and what kind of future is created." As a result of that creation, we as individuals become prosperous.
However, today’s world operates on a distorted structure where individual profit comes first, and society is merely a tool used to satisfy that ego. When I reflected deeply on what truly matters as a human being and faced the future of our society, I sensed that the hints for resolving this issue lie within Japan’s unique philosophy.
Today, the world looks to Japan not only for its tourism, products, and technology but also for its spirituality. Yet, looking globally, "Zen" has become a tool for productivity, "Wabi-sabi" mere minimalism, and "Ikigai" measured only by economic value.
I felt a strong sense of urgency regarding this reality, where Japanese spirituality is treated commercially and its true essence is stripped away.
"tabi to manabi" was born to deliver Japanese philosophy not as a consumable content, but as a lifelong "Personal Bible," preserving the purity of its essential value.
In this AI era, we transform "introspection"—which transcends mere efficiency and profit—into the most unwavering asset of your life. We are here to create an era where the act of philosophizing leads to both material and spiritual abundance.
