Learning is the very essence of how we live.
Through my deep involvement in early childhood education, I have come to realize a profound truth: what truly shapes a child’s life is not just what they are taught, but the environment in which they grow.
My experiences living abroad and working in diverse educational settings have highlighted a unique beauty and spirituality that exists only in Japan.
However, in a society that prioritizes efficiency and "correct" answers, the fundamental question—"How do I wish to be?"—is often left behind. As a result, many people grow into adulthood without ever fully realizing their inherent sensibilities or their power of agency.
It was this sense of crisis that led me to the philosophy of tabi to manabi.
Encountering Japanese philosophy and spirituality provides a rare sanctuary to face one’s inner self. I felt that this experience was not merely about acquiring knowledge or information; it was something that fundamentally transforms "the way one lives."
My mission has always been to nurture the "power to think and choose for oneself" in children. Now, I am expanding that mission to adults. I want to help every individual reconnect with their own senses and values, enabling them to consciously choose the direction of their lives. Through tabi to manabi, I am dedicated to providing the spark for that transformation.
